IP Address (Internet protocol ) is a 32 bit uniquely defined Address For

Each Network Device which are Connected To The Internet. Till Now

We are using IPv4 (internet Protocol Version 4) Which have

2^32=4 billions Total number of the Address. In Next Generation Total

Number of the IPv4 Address are not Sufficient for the Whole World

Internet User so now we are Shifting To IPv6 (Internet Protocols 

Version 6) Which is 128 bits long and have 2^128=256 billions 

of Addresses.

IPv4 -> 2^32=4 billions of the Total Address

IPv6 -> 2^128=256 billions of the Total Address

How to Find IP Address

You Can Find the IP Address using Command Prompt. so to Find The IP

Address you Follow The below Methods.

Methods-1. 

Step-1. Open Command Prompt ( Win + R and Type cmd )

Step-2. Now Type the Command ipconfig/all

Step-3. Here in the Corresponding Network, you Check the IPv4 Address

Section.

Method-2.

Step-1. Open Command Prompt (Win + R and Type cmd )

Step-2. Enter The Command nbtstat -S

Step-3. Here in the Corresponding Network, you Check Node Address.

What is Mac Address

Mac Address is also Known as Physical Address. Ethernet uses a 6-bytes

(48 bits ) Mac Address That is Imprinted on The Network Interface

card (NIC). it is Written in Hexadecimal digits.

Ex :
09:A6:8C:49:D5:E2

How To Find Mac Address

Step-1. Open the Command Prompt (Win + R and Type cmd).

Step-2. Enter The Command ipconfig/all

Step-3. In The Corresponding Network, you Check the Physical

Address Section.
